Individual Life Coaching:
Do you want to start a new business, change careers, take on a new challenge, or just change the direction of your life?
Do you procrastinate, feel stuck, scared, confused or unsure about what steps to take next?
Are you looking for ways to bring more meaning and purpose to your work or your life, but just don’t know where to start?
Are you feeling passionate about your life and relationships?
Have you already started moving in a new direction but need assistance getting past barriers or old self-limiting beliefs?
Are the behaviors and actions you display in the world in alignment with how you are truly feeling on the inside?
Sometimes we just need someone to bounce things off of, someone to be accountable to, someone who will help us brainstorm and share our excitement about new projects, about becoming who we are really meant to be. Life Coaching provides encouragement and nudging for those projects that just don’t ever seem to get done, like finishing your website for your new business, or diving into that new career that you know is your destiny, where you will thrive and be truly happy and fulfilled. It can also help bring sparkle into the parts of your life that may feel stagnant, whether it be in areas of your connections to others, your time outside of work, health, and all of those areas that are important to you. As a coach, I help people lean into their barriers, blocks, and obstacles so that they can ease their way to the other side, one step at a time.
Coaching will support your living authentically by helping you:
Find and maintain motivation.
Discover what is getting in the way of moving forward and clearing obstacles.
Learn how to discover goals and articulate them.
Create a roadmap of where you would like to go and how to get there – a roadmap that comes from listening to your true self.
“You can never cross the ocean
Unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
– Christopher Columbus
Many of us need support, guidance and help clarifying what we really want in life. Or we may have an idea about what we want, but need help breaking down our goals into smaller, achievable steps.
This is where life coaching comes in. Together we can look at your core values and begin exploring ways to create a life that fully expresses those values – whether at work or in your personal life. As you start developing clarity, we can translate your dreams into goals. With those goals in mind, we can:
Identify the individual steps to take.
Support you in taking action to create the life you most want to live.
“The law of attraction is this: you don’t attract what you want, You attract what YOU ARE.”
– Dr. Wayne Dyer
I provide a safe place to talk about what you really want and look at what gets in the way without judgment or shame. While I encourage my clients to try new things and take small risks, I also respect that each of us works at our own pace.
A unique service I offer that is different than most Life Coaching is that I integrate EMDR into sessions, and can do that because I am an MFT. EMDR is a powerful technique to help people get past internal barriers – those fears or old beliefs that get in the way of success. You can learn more about it on my EMDR page. EMDR is a tested method that can help you let go of old beliefs and emotional baggage that can get in the way of your dreams.
Life Coaching is a great way to bridge life changes. The loss of a loved one, a lay-off, a divorce, moving to a new city, having a child, retirement or launching your kids into adulthood – all these changes provide opportunities for you to re-envision yourself and your life.
When you’re ready to take the next step toward living the more true you, contact me online here or call me at (510) 520-2811. I would love to talk with you about your dreams and help you take the action needed to make them your reality.
“Your purpose is to find out who you are at core,
And offer that to the world.”
